Dolomites Bike Day
Sunday, 16th June 2019 the most suggestive roads of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage are reserved for cyclists!
Third edition: three legendary mountain passes, 51 km roads closed to traffic!
For the third Dolomites Bike Day, bike enthusiasts will have the possibility to cycle on 3 legendary mountain passes in the heart of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. It will be the perfect opportunity to ride on the pass roads that have made the history of great cycling. The passes Campolongo, Falzarego and Valparola will be closed to motorized traffic from 9 am to 3 pm. The roads linking the Ladin valleys Val Badia, Arabba/Livinallongo and Ampezzo will be reserved for cyclists for a total of 51 km.
The Dolomites Bike Day, a non-competitive event, with free access to all cyclists of all levels, is, thanks to the closure of the roads to motorized vehicles, the perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of cycling on the stages protagonists of the Giro d’Italia and the Maratona dles Dolomites – Enel.
